Euniqua Wade founded Foster Her Crown from a deeply personal place shaped by her own experiences with trauma, housing instability, and navigating systems that often overlook those in need. She believes healing grows from safe spaces, meaningful opportunities, and communities that truly see and believe in people's potential.

Her passion for beauty, mentorship, and helping others discover their worth led her to realize that hair braiding and beauty services could be more than skills-they could open doors to confidence, financial independence, healing, and restoration. This insight became the foundation of Foster Her Crown.

Today, Euniqua guides the organization in serving foster youth, survivors, girls, and gender-expansive individuals through trauma-informed programs that blend beauty education, workforce development, entrepreneurship, mentorship, and restorative support. Each program helps participants build practical skills while rebuilding confidence, self-worth, and hope.

She envisions a community where every person who connects with Foster Her Crown feels seen, valued, and capable of creating a life beyond survival, moving from surviving, to sustaining, to succeeding.
