Inbraid Heritage Institute is where we honor what our grandmothers taught us at the kitchen chair and recognize it as craftsmanship, knowledge, and business. We created this program because we saw too many gifted braiders working in the shadows, unsure how to turn their skill into a respected, sustainable career.

Inside Inbraid, participants learn the full story of braiding-from its cultural roots to modern styles clients request today. We pair technique with real workforce training: pricing services, caring for different textures, communicating with clients, and organizing a day of appointments. One learner may start by perfecting box braids and leave with a clear plan for launching a micro-braiding business.

Every class is trauma-informed and culturally affirming. We speak openly about the realities of surviving instability while still daring to build something of your own. Inbraid Heritage Institute helps participants step into entrepreneurship with confidence, treating braiding not as a side hustle, but as a powerful pathway to financial independence.
