Workforce Development & Career Support was shaped by the gaps we faced ourselves-knowing how to work hard, but not always knowing how to navigate systems, interviews, or long-term planning. We built this program so others would not have to figure it all out alone.
Participants receive practical support: resume building, mock interviews, professional communication, and time management. For those interested in beauty and braiding, we tie these skills directly to real-life scenarios, like managing clients, handling payments, and presenting professionally online.
Mentors walk beside each person, helping them set realistic goals and adjust when life shifts. One participant may move from inconsistent gigs to a stable part-time job, then into their own small beauty-based business. Our approach is trauma-informed, so if someone stumbles, we do not close the door-we help them stand back up.
